History:


PMDS has been created in 1992, after taking over the Polycristaline Division of Diamant Boart, world leader in Diamond Tooling Fabrication. Thanks to this filiation, we have acted as pioneers and accumulated more than 30 years experience in PCD/PCBN cutting tools manufacturing and servicing.

The recent developments in the most advanced industrial sectors such as automotive, aircraft, bearing,… require deeper knowledge in state of the art cutting tools material, such as PCBN.

Our long experience and cooperation with original PCD/PCBN sourcing (Diamond Synthesis) help us to offer for each of our product lines, the best PCD/PCBN quality.

We are spending most of our energy and resources in 5 main product lines:

    1. Hard Turning (High Speed Machining of Hardened Steel: > 55 HRC)
    2. Heavy Machining : Vertical lathe Turning of Heavy components made of Hi Cr cast irons (Ni Hard IV type)
    3. Carbide Machining (notch milling)
    4. Abrasive Machining (Carbon, Graphite, Alumina Oxyde,…)
    5. Hard / Abrasive Stone Machining (Quarries)
